Finished the hair and sanding then stained her.
I'm not really sure why I bothered to stain her other than just to see what oak would look like. I was planning on painting her all along. The stain settles the question since
the nose looked dirty and the bondo obviously did not stain up.
Anyway, I spent the rest of the night trying to get the colors right, but it is late now and she is starting to look "off" to me at this point. I was planning on touching her up a bit tomorrow after having some time to fully dry and then adding a coat or two of polyurethane.
I was kinda happy with the way the cat turned
out, even if the stripes do look a little bright at the moment. She's so close to being done, final pictures in a couple of days!
