Blogging with Free WiFi In Michigan!

Here we are in Michigan where the hotel was nice enough to offer free internet... as much as we can use.    What a great chance to do some blogging.


Where to begin...  The trip!   Long.   Boring.  No construction!   And only a few crazy drivers just inside Indiana.   Not much to talk or blog about.

Weather?   Good.   A few showers.  Nothing big or bad.  Mostly clouds with a few patches of sunshine.

Hmmm..  This might end up being a boring blog post.

Autumn color!   Some.   A little in Indiana and Southern Michigan.   We tried to capture some of it, but the colors were dulled by the clouds.   And I'm sure we missed the peak color time by about a week.   But it was at least more colorful than most of Iowa.  ( Because Iowa has fewer trees!  Duh!)


Then we met up with the Fam.   Andy and Tonya have new kittens and they were a huge hit.   Most cats run and hide from strangers, but not theses guys.   Lots of fun.

We hung out and swapped a few stories before calling it for the night.   Tomorrow will be the big day.   Early rise with lots of pictures...hopefully.   And perhaps a couple of medals to show off afterwards.

Right now, I'm exhausted and will be sipping a Michigan Honey Amber beer from Lattitude 42 Brewing Company.   I managed to also score a case of Honey Brown...  for the return trip.   With a little rest, I should be able to blog more tomorrow.   Thanks for stopping in.
