Thanksgiving RUSH! Supply SHORTAGE, AND STUPID DRIVEWAY!
Do I sound a little frazzled? Perhaps. We are selling quite a bit of stockings lately and our supplies are dwindling as we scramble to
keep up.
IT is all we can do to juggle the supplies, orders and conversations with our customers. WHOOHOO! And to add just a LITTLE more stress ( because that is not enough yet) The DRIVEWAY is still drying!
IT has been over 10 days now, and carrying two tubs filled with packages 200 yards to our car on a cold ( COLD) day is not very fun. Not to mention each day we go to Iowa city, we have additional supplies and other things that we have to carry BACK! Ok, I'm focusing on the driveway a little too much because it is just that one extra inconvenience that is really bugging me.
As far as Thanksgiving...it was fun. We had turkey, stuffing, gravy and pumpkin pie. I probably gained 20 pounds! Ok maybe not 20...but I definitely ate too much.
Hopefully our eating habits will get back on track as well as our grip on the Christmas rush/ situation. Every sale is a blessing....but as for that driveway.....GRRRR!

Ah! Thanksgiving....
What a time of year....where you can eat till you bust guilt free....well sort of.
It is true that I probably indulged a little more than I should have yesterday. But now is the time to start back on track. I have clothes that I still have to fit into.
As for the time spent with family and friends. Well, Cheryl and I worked yesterday...longer than we had planned actually. But that is a good thing because, Essentially, Cheryl IS my family and what better way to spend it than working together to get money. ( It's all about money right?) Anyway, we have been too busy for me to even post an update on my blog so I thought I would just check in and ramble a bit.
Hope everyone else had a great Thanksgiving. We personally had much to be thankful about. Namely the move to Iowa, and all the blessings we have had since we moved here. Every day we see more and more blessings come in and hope they continue. God Bless you all.

Thanksgiving weekend carving.
Finished
the 7 seats I had for today, Still have two more for tomorrow. We we forced to buy some elongated seats from a place we usually don't visit. but
luckily, they had them. So from now on...NO MORE ELONGATED SEATS! It's simply a logistical issue we don't want to deal with anymore. Until I actually make my own, that is. Then I can take a more control on how they are assembled. Well, it is late here so I'll keep this post short.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy
thanksgiving everyone! Yesterday was spent with the family so I didn't get to do much. I'm now behind 15 seats! I was able to secure 3 elongated in Grand Rapids yesterday, But That was it. I still have to find 2 more... and then all the standard seats to
boot. Anyway, I carved up 8 tonight. Hopefully, We Will continue to be swamped like this through Christmas and beyond. Got lots of catching up to do. So I might be a little sporadic with the blog entries in the future.
