Back to Work! |
The reason for the hiatus in Blogging is because Cheryl and I are back working for Pearson. Working a typical 40 hour week has really done a number on our normal adventures. So with fewer adventures...and available time, that means fewer blog posts. Add in that we have been scoring evenings when we get back home, and what little time there is left over is reserved for sleeping.
|
Cheryl is excited to Run! |
However, we do have the weekends! (except we both have to score this evening as well, in about an hour or so....) At least we had the morning! Kinda. Hurray for the little things.
|
Pleasant day for running. |
Cheryl has been eager to get back out there and continue running. She ran 3.5 miles pain free today, and that is usually a good thing. Add in that we were able to ride our bikes, despite the rather brisk temps and biting wind chill. Overall, it has been a pretty good day so far.
|
Look at that Subie! |
One thing of note while riding our bikes were the abundance of Subaru s today. We noticed this little gem in the parking lot we ride through. It must be new as we typically notice all of the Subaru s when we pass through.
|
And another! Bright Red! Stylish. |
These two both tend to stick out a bit. I want to say they are both WRX's but they might be STI's It is difficult to say since they both look alike. Only the "Subaru Snobs" would know for sure. And before you say anything, I am a Subaru "enthusiast" but not really a snob. (Those guys "live in their mother's basement".... According to Cheryl's Brother.)
|
So many Subaru s out today. Legacy, Forester, Outback. |
Still, Seeing a spiffed up Subie is always a pleasure. It was a good day for Subaru drivers at the trail. We had two of them park next to us. Those Subie people seem to love the outdoor adventures.
|
They always park near each other. |
I can hardly wait for the weather to get back to almost warm so I can touch up the "Silver Bullet" Subie of ours. I have big plans! ( Weather and money permitting.)
|
Big Plans for Silver Bullet Subie. I can't wait! |
Other than that, we did some shopping and ate a donut. Not much else when you have to be home before 4:30 so you can work. At least the shift is short tonight.
Hope everyone is enjoying the bright sun. Even if the temps are cold, at least the sun is out. Tomorrow calls for rain and snow. Not a very nice way to enjoy your two days off. But what are you going to do? Thanks for stopping in!
