Cheryl opened the stocking shop as of September 1st. And we have already sold 5 stockings ( counting the one we did today.) and several more custom ones in the works. This is a "trying time" as we are still up to our elbows in Soap and Chalk.( I know, I know.. Capitals...) Having to move everything to one side of our small shop so we can complete a stocking is a lot of work. But luckily ( or unluckily...depending on how you look at things) the numbers of stocking sales are still small, so we can knock them out fairly easily.
We brought soap to the farmers market last night and sold a few. It was a nice night with pleasant temps. You would think there would have been more people out enjoying it, but no... The crowds were rather small last night. Even some of the Vendors did not show up.
But we sold some stuff. And enjoyed the evening. I drew a little mural on the stage since everyone liked last weeks doodle. Currently, it is raining with Hummingbirds dogfighting outside our window. They seem to really like the new hummingbird feeders.
And Cheryl is relisting stuff on the website with the cats as company. Tomorrow is the Kalona Farmer's Market. The car is packed and ready. I may bring bubbles this time if the weather continues to be cool. We'll see you then. Thanks for stopping in.

Yeah for stockings!!
Sounds like this will be the busy time of the year for you!
You and Cheryl are so creative. It seems like your previous stocking season just ended - and now a new one begins. The past year flew by.
