Why I Want To Be An Entrepreneur When I Grow Up.

An Essay By Ethan A Allen.

4th Grade, Holy Trinity Lutheran Grade School.

I want to be an Entrepreneur when I grow up.  I just heard about it in Social Studies and it sounded pretty cool.   I think that working by  myself would be neat.  I think it  would be really fun and exiting, Because no one would boss you around.  That is why I would want to be an Entrepreneur when I grow up.

First.  I think it sounds cool.   Mostly because Entrepreneurs make stuff.   And I want to make stuff when I grow up.   I would want to make things like laser rifles and flying motorcycles.  I think that would be cool.   I definitely would not make things that no one wants or lame stuff like "girl things."   Because that would not be fun. And girl things are stupid! I think you have to make things that are fun and that people will use for fun.  That is why I would want to be an Entrepreneur when I grow up.

Second, I think that working by myself would be neat.  I hate working with other people.   Especially Billy, who uses all of the red crayons when we are working on a project together.   And then he lies about it and says that there was no red to begin with, but I saw him using all the red on the Tie fighter...  And Tie fighters are not red at all!   I also don't like working with Timmy because he eats glue and picks his nose.   Or Ben because he likes to shoot spitballs at people when they are not looking.    Basically there is only one person I would want to be an entrepreneur with and that is Cheryl, because she is fun and nice.   She is also cute and I like her a LOT!  I think I'm going to marry her someday and we will start  making things and get really, really rich!  We will buy a house and have really cool cars next to our yacht in the driveway.  I think Cheryl will be the best person to work with, that is why we are going to get married.   Cheryl does not know this, because I have not told her yet.  That is why I want to be an Entrepreneur when I grow up.

And lastly, I want to be an Entrepreneur when I grow up because I don't want to have a boss.  I don't like people bossing me around.  Like Miss Kirtner, who tells me that I can't play with my legos during lunch time.  Hello!  It's lunchtime!  I should be able to play with my legos while I eat my lunch. I don't understand why she gets so angry about playing with legos.  I think she is just being mean, because Jordon gets to play with his Luke Skywalker and she doesn't say anything about that.   I think Jordon is her favorite.   And that is why want to be an Entrepreneur when I grow up.

In conclusion:  I want to be an Entrepreneur when I grow up because I think making stuff would be really, really cool and very  fun.   I think it would be really fun making fun things for people to have fun.   I also think that working alone with Cheryl would be cool.  It would be OK because we would be married and married people can work together.  And finally, I don't want to have a boss telling me what to do the rest of my life.   That sounds really, really bad.  And that is why I want to be an Entrepreneur when I grow up.  Or an Artist.

When I was in fourth grade, I couldn't even pronounce "entrepreneur".

I think my 4th grade essay on growing up referred to growing up to be a cowboy.

Fun post. Love it.
