Snow. And Stockings....

It snowed today. It is snowing today.  Is HAS snowed today. ( Conjugate the verb...)  It will be snowing tomorrow.... Future Tense.  Maybe.

Despite the cold and the turbo wind,  we went out for a run anyway.   Cheryl has to hop around to stay warm.   I had to bundle up for extreme weather on the bike.  Because riding a bicycle in the winter is not a "warming" activity.

But we survived.  The wind really kicked up just before we were finished and wouldn't you know it... right in the face.  The snow was not very thick, but it was hard enough to pelt you in the nose and face as you ran in it.  I hear there will be about an inch of accumulation in the north.   But so far.. in our section of Iowa.. No snow has be able to accumulate.

Being  so cold and windy, it was a great day to stay inside and do stockings.   Cheryl says we are down 20 stockings compared to last year at this time.   Time to panic!

As I mentioned in a previous blog post,  panicking during this time of year is common. Almost routine!  I'm not sure which side of Panic I would prefer, but panicking over too many sales at least leaves you with a lot of money at the end of it.   That's kind of a good thing.

Then again,  Panicking because sales are bad means you don't have to worry about supply issues and limitations of time.   Which could also be a good thing, since  when the Earth gets hit by a giant meteor... And all life is wiped out...  You wont' have to think about all the time in your life  you wasted making stockings.   Happy thoughts!

Sometimes looking at the half full side of the glass is just as troubling.  So I will cut this blog post short and Just say:  18 stockings today.  17 stockings yesterday.  We are currently all caught up and it is beginning to snow.   Have a great weekend everyone!

Well there you go. Snow! We are supposed to get hit too. 1 to 4 inches. I did my errands this morning and parked in the shed.
I'll let the others play in the fresh snow and slippery roads tonight and tomorrow.
The weather service put out a notice to be aware!

Love that stinging snow...not!
I bet the running feels good afterwards as it releases energy.
