Monday Stockings.

A quick post after the Halloween celebration.  ( Honestly, it was over before it even got dark yesterday. )  No trick or treaters again this year.  Our apartment must look really scary.  But that is fine with us as Cheryl really hates children.  And I'm not very fond of them either. 

But mostly I wanted to mention the stocking rush has begun.   Last year at this time, Cheryl reread the blog posts and November 1 was the moment things began to pick up.   So far, we have had several days where we have already done over 20, so it may be that things are picking up earlier this year.  

Today we just completed 28 stockings.   It was a full day and we did not have time to go out running, like last year. Last year,  I somehow managed to blog every couple of days AND we went out to Muscatine.  Possibly because they were the last city in Iowa to adopt any draconian Mandates.  But hopefully this year will be different.. in a good way.   More sales,  less travel, and less distractions.   With a little luck, we will be able to weather the "Bad Year for Christmas" this year and help make everyone elses Christmas  a little brighter.  Hopefully.  

Daylight saving time is coming up someday.  Next weekend I think.   An extra hour of sleep in the morning.. I hope.    We shall see if I muster up the same amount of energy I did last year to keep Future Ethan and Cheryl informed.  We shall see.
