2019 Year in Review... With Pictures!

Age group awards!
Looking back, 2019 was a very good year!   For some things...   Mostly running.     Cheryl ran a lot of races and won a lot of awards.   She even won MONEY!    We traveled to 9 states.

She got New Personal Records in every distance his year.   Possibly because of the new Shoes from Nike.   Possibly because she remained injury free all year this year.  (Another FIRST!)   Possibly because the weather cooperated when the moment counted.   Whatever the reasons,  2019 will be a tough year to Replicate of Beat for the future!

I had plans on making a very detailed picture show with commentary,  but time is beginning to disappear before my eyes.   We have already used up the internet at home, so I'm posting this from the Free WiFi in Madison Wisconsin.  You see... Cheryl is running he New Years Day Dash tomorrow.

So instead,  I will simply post the pictures we have and I will keep the yap to a minimum.  ( or at least try....)   Enjoy!

I should also mention The Subaru had an AWESOME year with 300,000 Milestone being reached.

He remained mostly problem free and got us to every single race Cheryl had Scheduled!   He also had some bling of his own added...

I should note that the Odd weather in Iowa this year was bad for Tomatoes... but GREAT for Mushrooms.    We found Chanterelles in Numbers never before seen.   We also discovered Chicken of the Woods,  Hen of the Woods. Giant Puffballs and a number of  King BOLETES! Not to mention the Oyster Mushrooms had Multiple Fruitings is many places this year.

And finally  We have accidentally aquired a new part-time cat.  "Leo", as we are calling him officially,  showed up Unfixed,  thin,  filled with worms, covered in fleas and missing patches of hair.  He was hungry all the time and scared of his own shadow.   But now he has been fixed,  Is chubby,  Has a THICK furry coat; ( Hence the nickname:"Fluffy")   And is Flea and Worm free.   He also loves to play with me and Hiro... AND cuddle with Cheryl ( Truely, a rare behavior...)

So much more... But if you have read this far, you are either Cheryl and Ethan from the Future.  Or someone who is really Bored at night and paging through our blog for kicks.   Either way,  Thanks for stopping in.    And Here is to a NEW Year...   2020.  Hopefully the year of the Rat will be as good or maybe better than 2019.

I did have to page back through your blog and this was a great place to stop and get familiar with you both.
Wow! I was a runner...I ran until I was in my 30's, then changed over to distance biking, then distance riding [on a mule], and then in my 60's??? CrossFit, and I do get to run there too!

You guys are so awesome.
