Temps have hit into the mid 40's the last couple of days. Today we decided to run back in Coralville because it was close to all the errands we had to make. At the very least, there were no stockings today.
The Sun in Iowa is a strange thing. If it is out, it will melt the snow even if it is below freezing. It also warms you as you run if you are wearing dark clothes. Oh! And it kind of blinds you. But mostly, in Winter, The sun is a welcome element to the outdoor activities.
Other than a few running shots, there was not much else worth blogging about. No deer... possibly because they have either been culled or run off out of the city. With no open water, there were no Eagles to film. So.. basically, Only pictures of Cheryl running. Kind of boring.
Back home, the neighbor cats are there, waiting for their "Holiday Treats" from the nice guy from the Apartments. Cheryl says need to stop feeding them before they deplete all the Stocking money. It's bad enough we bring in the fluff-ball who eats everything. I am down to one can of cat food that they both share. After the Holidays, they may have to fend for themselves. But it is hard to be Scroogy during the Christmas Season..... Especially to cats. 
Other than that, I have been working on the "End Of The Year" posts(s). One for running, One for stockings, and maybe one for mushrooms or cats or something. They probably will be long posts and Certainly require more time to prepare for than just a few hours before I retire for the evening. We shall see how much I can do before the Internet drops me for the month... Fingers crossed.
