Full Metal Alchemist Final Set...is Ours!

That is right, we finally own the entire set of Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. The last 6 episodes are defiantly worth the wait. Much more action than the first series, ( still my favorite though) And it seems to wrap things up a little nicer in the final episode, but that is just my opinion. See the series online for free here: At Funimation.com.

Enjoy!

The latest from Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood!

In case you are not aware of it, the third installment of Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood is out now and Cheryl and I were one of the first people in line to purchase it. It's pretty cool! I would recommend it to anyone who has read the Manga and ever wanted the Anime to be true to it...but I'm still spoiled on the Original Full Metal Alchemist. IT seemed to be a little more thought out than the Brotherhood series. It's just my opinion. I have to at least applaud them for attempting to improve on perfection! FMA original seemed to be the best anime ever...and even when it was done...you still wanted more. Now if ONLY they would redo Claymore! True to the Manga....then I can be one of those Otoku snobs that insist the manga is better than the Anime and mean it. Anyway...if you haven't checked it out yet...you can see the English dubbed on Funimation.com. Go check it out! It's still a great Anime. Oh! And Olivie Armstrong. (Major Armstrong's Sister) Is introduced. She is A general that runs the Briggs Wall. Next to Hawkeye, she is one of my favorite female characters. ( I can't help it...she so sexy...)

Full Metal Panic... Fumoffu Check it out!

Happy Cyber Monday everyone! Cheryl and I have been kind of busy this weekend with a number of things that are too boring to list here. However, To help us unwind each night we have been adding a little to our Anime collection. Our latest addition is Full Metal Panic Fomoffu. It is basically the third addition to the series of the full metal panic story...but focuses exclusively on the comedy side. Its a nice change of pace from the second raid. ( second part) that is pretty much all action. We still have to get Full Metal Panic Second Raid. But then our collection of that series will be complete. Oh We finally finished the last episode of Claymore and it was Awesome! Of Coarse! Gotta Love that Claymore! Anyway. If you are out purchasing stuff off the Internet this day, be sure to check out the stockings and purses on the right....and then if you lack entertainment. Check out Funimation for the latest Anime! They will let you sample most of their offerings for free online ( you have to endure a few commercials) But at least you can see if you like the Anime before you purchase the entire series. Check them out at Funimation.com.

The Totally Awesome Claymore! ( anime and manga)

I have blogged about this before, but tonight we are planning on getting Claymore the Anime. It is an awesome Anime and even better Manga to those of you who are nerdy enough to buy collect and read these things. Anyway, there are the latest manga chapters that have been translated on Animefreak.tv. But be careful because some of the earlier chapters have got some virus attached that will mess up your computer unless you have your firewall up. Otherwise, I have been working on a couple of new origami that are not finished yet. I have a couple that I would love to make, but it could take a while before I figure them out. And just to wow the readers. Check out Robert Lang's Origami IRISH ELK! (remember..I LOVE the irish elk!)

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood ( part 2) Is OURS!

We finally got the second part of the English Dubbed Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood series. I must say that Funimation is doing a GREAT job with the voice acting and dubbing. As you might remember, Cheryl and I watched the Japanese versions ( also on Funimation) and there are things that you just "miss" when you are forced to read the subtitles. Well, finally, the reading is over and you can sit back and catch ever emotion and expression that the Anime illustrators intended. If you have not yet seen it, it is available for viewing ( for free might I add) at on Funimation right now. ( check it out...you'll thank me!) And then go out and buy it! There are commentaries on the DVD that you can't find on the website. Now to be fair... I still like the original better. ( Just a touch) I could write forever on all the things that I find better, but alas this is enough. The Brotherhood series is more action and adventure! There is still a good storyline and part 2 ( episodes 14-26) are where the story REALLY deviates from the original anime and holds true to the original Manga. Well, Rather than write a book, Hopefully this will just tweak your interest enough to check it out. Find it on Funimation now! Enjoy!

CLAYMORE is on FUNIMATION!

It is difficult to put into words whenever a new anime comes out that totally blows your mind! If you follow this blog ( sorry for being lazy in my day to day posts.) you will probably note that I have blogged about Claymore before. It is truly an awesome anime to behold. Beautifully drawn, well dubbed, and a totally immersing story that grabs you and refuses to let you go even when you finish the series. I'm STILL yelling for more! (A second season perhaps?) If you enjoy the anime, you will also enjoy the manga because for most of the first 23 episodes, the manga follows dead on. However, the manga is continuing and I wait frantically each month for the next chapter to arrive. As for right now...Funimation is airing Claymore for FREE on it's channel/website. FUNIMATION.COM Enjoy! You will not regret it!

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Only three Left!

That is right there are only three episodes left! Check them out at Funimation! In other news, Cheryl and I took another trip to Iowa to check out some housing leads. It was enlightening! You see, the job we have is in Iowa City and the place we were looking at was in Davenport, Iowa. ( a Bit of a commute) So we thought that it might be better if we got a hotel room for a week or two and look for something a little closer. Cheryl is as eager as I to get there and get settled, but we still have a last MOVING sale to get ready for and hopefully raise a little more cash. I also have to find some type of storage for the rest of the unsold stuff. It will be difficult to move when there is no place to move to! It may be a while till my next post! I'm currently at the library as our computer is "down" . I'm not sure when I will next get a chance to post something. ( I'm thinking a lap top might be in our future!)

Full Metal Alchemist....Is ours! Well, Part one anyway.

I didn't blog about this when we got it, but on the day it was released to stores, Cheryl and I ran out to purchase the English Dubbed version of Full metal Alchemist Brotherhood. Target was supposed to have it, but we found our version at Best Buy. After watching the first several episodes on Funimation, You just have to conclude that it is not the same as the Original Full Metal Alchemist. But sticks to the Manga more faithfully. I DO find it very entertaining on a different scale, however. It is much more action driven than the first one. I'm sure you probably have read most of this before in a previous post, But I just wanted to say that Funimation has done a great job dubbing it ( Of coarse!) and managed to talk most of the original cast to play their old roles once again. Edward just would not be the same without Vic! As for the new Alphonse! Maxey Whitehead does a GREAT job! She almost sounds like the old Aaron Desmuke from the original. (Sorry for the geek talk folks, If you are not a big Anime fan, you probably do not know who these people are. I understand.) So I'm giving it 4 stars ( out of five) at this point. ( Comeon, Nothing could be better than the original...there can be only one that good) I would recommend it to anyone. Go get your version now from Funimation or your local Best Buy. Enjoy!

Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood English DUB is HERE!

That is right full metal fans! It's FINALLY OUT! As you might recall if you follow my blog, I have been posting the periodic update as the Subbed versions of FULL METAL ALCHEMIST BROTHERHOOD come out on Funimation. Well....The English DUBBED versions are beginning their long awaited debut! The fist episode is on Funimation right now! and we are waiting for the 20Th of this month to purchase the entire English dubbed series ( at least part one) I will continue to watch the subbed version until it is finished, but let me tell you the dubbed version is better. Most of the same actors are there with their original parts but it is refreshing to watch the show instead of having to read the subtitles. So GET READY! FOR FUN! FUNIMATION IS THE BEST! Enjoy the First opening once again!

Gad Guard is HERE!

I've been watching gad guard for the past several weeks. At the time of this posting. Funimation has posted 20 episodes and is posting about 2 aditional episodes a week. It's not too bad ( I am watching it after all!) Not really like your typical Mecha show. The people do not climb in and control them. If you are looking for a new Anime to check out, Give this one a try! Enjoy the intro!

Sands of Destruction! Funimation Presents...

Lately we have been watching the Sands of destruction on Funimation. Its an Interesting story about a world where sand in where the oceans are and beast men rule instead of humans. The World destruction committee are humans who want to destroy this world. It's full of talking teddy bears and sand monsters that should keep anyone entertained no matter what age. Here's the Opening! It's got a great techno beat to it so sit back and try not to disco too much.
