Tree carving day 2
So I worked on the log a little bit more today.
It's beginning to take shape a little more. Cheryl says that I still don't have a neck that is long enough. She might be right. There is still a lot of roughing out to be done, especially on the top part of her. You see, I started with the legs and hips
and worked my way up this time instead of the other way around. This may prove to be a problem in the future when it comes to the hair. But for now, I'll just keep going and
deal with that later.
I sketches a little on the face to give you an idea of where it's going to go. I'm sure to make changes as I proceed on.
Tomorrow will be a busy day because Cheryl and I will be going to meet with a person about a show in the mall and also with a shop that has purchased from us several times before. Hopefully things are looking up!
